The selected candidate will work under the general supervision of the CVAC Team Leader. The Intern of this Program, will periodically provide feedback on the efforts and advances that will be delegated to the candidate on the progress and performance in establishing goals and solutions to problems that may arise in customer service.
The purpose of the internship is:
a) Promote the improvement of their skills in general.
b) Increase interpersonal relationship skills.
c) Strengthen their skills in management and customer service.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1.Provide information on the different types of Visas and Migration Programs.
2.Fill out forms.
3.Review and receive Visa applications and other documentation.
4.Carry out different quality control processes.
5.Draft reports
6.Manage personal and confidential information
7.Perform Biometrics Enrollments
8.Coordinate security issues with the IOM security officer
9.Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
Advanced students or recent graduates in humanities, administration, international relations and related fields.
EXPERIENCE
1 years of experience in realted tasks. Please attach letter with employment or personal references.
SKILLS
•Ability to work as a team player and under pressure

•Good knowledge of MS Office.

•IT skills are desirable

Eligibility and Selection
The selected candidate for this internship position will work on site (in the country of the duty station where this position is based). Interns will receive a monthly stipend.

In general, the Internship aims at attracting talented students and graduates who are between 20 and 36 years of age. Must, at the time of application, a) be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or b) be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or c) have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within one year of graduation.

Depending on experience and location, IOM provides a small monthly stipend to help offset costs.
This internship will be supporting the IOM Mission in Montevideo, Uruguay.
